I buy my cars at Gates because of their excellent service department. I know I receive factory parts installed expertly. I highly recommend their service department.
Tara is an excellent sales person. She heard everything I had to say about what I wanted in a vehicle and found me the perfect one. Her service, friendliness and knowledge made for an excellent experience. Gates dealership is nicely set up, comfortable and clean. Music was a bit loud, but if that is the only negative, that's not too bad. I would look for a vehicle here again.
I purchased a 2017 GMC Sierra from Gates over the summer and they seemed to be good, but at around 2000 miles the paint on my front bumper started peeling off . It’s a white truck with black primer so needless to say it looked horrible. I brought it back for the so called service manager to look at thinking for sure they would take care of it. Nope the idiot told me I must have hit something big and I shouldn’t have bought a truck with a painted bumper. Really? What a guy. Told me he wouldn’t even bother GMC with it , so I left pissed off and called GMC myself. I took it to Scranton Moters in Vernon and they took one look at it and said it is very much a paint problem, just like it thought. They took it in that day and had it back to me in 3 days no problem. So I will NEVER deal with Gates again. They will sell you anything but won’t stand behind it even when it’s a very obvious problem at 2000 miles! Personally I think the service manager should be washing cars not selling them.
I absolutely enjoyed my experience purchasing my 2017 Buick Encore from Nicholas. He was knowledgeable and listened to all of my questions. Everyone that I came across that day was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I am extremely happy with the service I received.
I LOVE Gates! The people who work here are sweet and welcoming! When I got approved for my loan everyone was happy for me and congratulated me!
