This location does not keep its groceries in stock. I don't have a nearby alternative so I shop here often, and in the past several years I've seen them run out of such items as bread, peanut butter, various brands of soda, yogurt, spices like black pepper and cinnamon, and so much more -- sometimes for weeks in a row. I've tried asking employees to check if more stock arrived, and the answer has always been no. They suggest that I check back after the next truck arrives, which usually means after Saturday, and when I do the item in question is usually still out of stock. I have never had this problem at any other Walmart or at any other grocery department anywhere.
Newly renovated store but seems to be really overcrowded. It may be because of holiday merchandise but I had a hard time getting between racks with the cart and some aisles seem to only fit one person at a time. It doesn't seem to be efficient traffic wise.
We buy all our tires at Wal-Mart as the price and quality are good. We experienced a slow leak in one of our tires about 1 1/2 months ago. I refilled the air at a gas station with no troubles until this morning. A warning symbol tells us when the pressure is low. The tire pressure is low once again, probably aided by the extremely cold weather. I called Wal-Mart to see if they can take a look at it as it seems to possibly have a potential seal problem. Also if there is a problem with the tire, they would have a matching one on the shelf to replace it. They told me I needed an appointment and that the soonest would be Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday. How absurd!!!! It's New Year's Day (just after noontime) and they are open for business. Hard to believe that it's that busy there today. We were looking to get it resolved today as we need the vehicle to get to work. I guess it doesn't matter that I buy the tires there all the time. Very very displeased with their response!!!!
We shop at all Wal-Mart stores but in particular at this one in North Windham as it is the closest one to us. I have never written a review of any kind in my life but was "extremely" disappointed with the Tire and Lube department today.
The health and beauty products are usually the lowest prices in the area and they have items you can't find locally. Other items you really need to know your prices and may be able to get a better deal elsewhere.
Store clerks very helpful and easy to find. Which was good because they had changed the layout and location of several departments.
Morale does seem low at this particular store.
It is a Walmart. I did have a great experience with two of the representatives. I was in a bit of a hurry as I was late for faire. I needed to purchase a mirror and a stool. I asked one rep that guided me completely across the store to the area and she asked a rep in that area and he pinpointed them for me. It was nice not having to waste time making this purchase.
It is convenient due to the variety of products.
